The Role & Responsibilities – Specification Sales Manager

The main purpose of the role is to generate contract sales in the region through specification of the company’s flooring product range. Your Territory will be Central London

  • Specification sales through architects and interior designers
  • Responsible for securing written specification for major projects
  • Responsible for managing some existing agreements and contracts
  • Selling all product range to all markets, with no restrictions
  • Deliver growth and development of key customer relationships in spec & contracting
  • Monitoring the sales process throughout the project specification
  • Organise CPD seminars with specifiers and attend trade shows
  • Develop relationships with all levels of decision maker
  • Immerse yourself in the strategic development of the business

Requirements / Skills – Specification Sales Manager

This is a specification sales role with minimal account management, which means driving the business forward is an essential part of the role.

  • Must have a wealth of specification sales experience, specifically with architects
  • Must have knowledge of the route to market and how to achieve sustainable growth
  • Clear synergy and success with the clients and route to market listed above
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach and ability to sell to all levels effectively
  • Professionally sales trained with ability to execute and implement strategy
  • Highly driven, motivated, ambitious and ooze enthusiasm with boundless energy
  • Commit to the role long term through understanding and learning the market place
  • Must be able to share ideas and take instruction when necessary
