The Role – Business Development Manager / Construction

The main purpose of the role will be to sell the company’s extensive product range of electronic power tools and industrial supplies into end users such as Training Colleagues, Manufactures, Fabricators and building sites just to name a few. The product range includes items such as, routers, sawing machinery, sanders, polishing equipment, carpentry machinery and many more. You will be tasked with generating 70% new business and subsequently account managing these clients in order to maximise sales going forward. You will be expected to make your own appointments and sell via face to face meetings with decision makers, these meetings will often involve product demonstrations. You will benefit from the company’s extensive CRM system and infrastructure such as marketing and administrative backup that will allow you to focus on your role, although you will also be expected to source your own leads. This product is high quality and the company offer excellent product training and customer service which will allow you to easily build long lasting relationships with customers. This is a home based role covering Kent /Essex and you will be given full autonomy, with the luxury of having an open and friendly manager who will give you full flexibility.

The Person – Business Development Manager / Construction

For this role, we are looking for the following skills; sales experience selling industrial products such as machinery and tooling into businesses or end users; Consultative solution based sales professional; Have experience demonstrating products to potential clients/customers; Must be a seasoned new business professional with charisma and a personality that will light up the room; Adaptable, flexible and has sold to all levels Ability to present to all levels with measurable results; be hungry driven and motivated; Experience managing a large territory and arraigning face to face meetings.
